Harbour access

Harbour access

During MIPIM 2010, the harbour next to the Jetée Albert Edouard will be part of the exhibition area.

Harbour opening hours

Badges are mandatory for access to the harbour during the following dates/hours:
  • March 16 - 18 > 9.00 - 18.00
  • March 19 > 9.00 - 15.00

Harbour badges are valid only during MIPIM (March 16 -19), and only for the Harbour area. Harbour badges are not valid to access the MIPIM exhibition area.

Who uses harbour badges ?

Harbour badges are necessary for the following participants:
  • Yacht crew (10 badges maximum): please note that those concerned are the Captain and his crew.
  • Extra staff: please note that those concerned are the hostesses, maintenance and catering staff, which are not part of the yacht crew (i.e. only people who will work on the boat during the market).

All badges are strictly personal, non- transferable.
A picture will be taken on site and appear on each badge.

Badge collection

Badges are available during the following dates/hours (locate harbour registration here):
  • March 14 > 14.00 - 18.00
  • March 15 – 18 > 9.00 - 18.00
  • March 19 > 9.00 - 15.00

Selective access

This access concerns deliveries and other interventions. For this purpose, a “temporary badge” or a “delivery badge” must be collected at the Gare Maritime before accessing the harbour. A photo ID is required to collect any badge.

Installation of temporary structures on Jetée Albert Edouard

On the Yacht Registration Form for Crew Members, there is a section to be completed regarding any temporary installations (and their additional elements (structures, tents, etc…).

We kindly ask you to attach to this form any corresponding technical files, formally certified by an office of control (in particular stability, wind resistance, weighting, systems of attachment and any related calculations). All installations on the quay must comply with the QH 2002 procedure. Please forward the completed form to the Reed Midem contact listed below.

We inform you that an Office of Control will be on site to validate the conformity of the installations carried out on the harbour. Consequently, you will be in charge of carrying out as soon as possible any modifications requested by the Office of Control so that the temporary structures can remain up during the exhibition. If no changes occur, you will be asked to proceed with the breakdown of the concerned temporary structures.

In order to perform this procedure, please send us the following forms duly completed prior to March 1, 2010 (by fax to +33 (0)1 41 90 67 22 or scanned email).
